Ferro-concrete Vessels in Austria-Hungary. - According to Hansa, the "First Austrian Ferro-Concrete Shipbuilding Firm Ing. Paul Ziegerli," the newly established Fluvia yard, and the Austria Werft are all undertaking the manufacture of ferro-conerete vessels.
In addition, the Danubius yard is to build ferro-concrete vessels under the Rudiger patents (Hamburg). Excluding the propelling equipment, it is estimated that concrete sea-going vessels will cost about £12 10s. per ton d.w. capacity in Austria.
