Converted to livestock carrier & renamed DORRIT CLAUSEN (New tonnage: 14,091 grt, 6.324 nrt, 9.536 dwt). 1981: Sold to Etaiwi Shipping, Saudi Arabia and renamed OM ALQORA. 1995: Sold to Green Fields Livestock Marketing Services Co. Ltd., United Arab Emirates and renamed MARINEOS. 23/11 2001: Arrested and laid up in Port Rashid. 5/1 2003: Fire broke out on board while berthed at Port Rashid. There were only a skeleton crew on board. There were no casualties. Declared beyond economical repair and sold at auction to Indian breakers. 23/4 2003: Arrived Alang, India in tow to be broken up. |
