MARSEILLAISE Aube-class (GLOIRE, MARSEILLAISE, SULLY, CONDE & AMIRAL AUBE) Laid down in January 1900 at Brest. Launched 1901 Completed 1903 Janes 1905-06 describe her as a Aube-class, some sites on Internet as Gloire-class, a improved version of the Gueydon-class Served in the First World War in the Atlantic and took part in escort duty. She was part of the Atlantic Squadron. She escorted the liner taking President Wilson back to America. Taken off active duty in 1929 and subsequently broken up. Displacement: 9458 tons.
