Build at Mare Island Yard. Commisioned Nov. 20th 1919.
U.S.S. WISCONSIN (BB-64)
One of the world's last operational battleship. Built by Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and commissioned on 16 April 1944. She have been decommissioned two times and has participated in naval combat operations in WW II, the Korean War, and Operation Desert Storm. Deactivated in 1991, she is now a fixture on the Norfolk, Virginia waterfront, berthed at the National Maritime Center - NAUTICUS -, and open to public tours.

U.S.S. TEXAS
The United States Battleship "Texas" acquired by the State of Texas, is permanently berthed at San Jacinto Battle Grounds near Houston, where she will rest as a monument to her valiant deeds while in service of her country. Officially transferred to the State of Texas April 21, 1948, where she is being viewed by thousands of visitors daily.
