27/3 1980: Abandoned by her crew about 220 miles S.W. of Adelaide,
following an engine room fire when in Pos. 38.20 S & 136.20 E during a
voyage from Freemantle to Bandar Mahshar with a cargo of 40.000 sheep.
She was last sighted 29/3, but had sunk by the following day. One member
of her crew was lost. |
