Stockholm, Sweden as CHRISTER SALEN. 15/2 1951: During a tyfon in Tokio Bay broken i two, and the forepart of the ship sunk. She managed for own power go to Yokohama where she made a temporary repair with a new short bow. In the end of August 1951 she arrived to Antwerp to dicharge her cargo and was after that drydocked in Bremen for final repaire. 1957: Sold to Robert Bartholomay, Hamburg, W. Germany and renamed CORONA. 1967: Sold to Laguna Nav. Inc., Philippines and renamed PHILIPPINE PROGRESS. 1972: Broken up at Kaohsiung, Taiwan. |
