Oct. 1944: Used as Pilotship in Kiel. 1946: Registered for Kieler Verkehrs AG, Kiel, W.Germany. 1947 - 1948. Rebuild and lengthened at Howaldtswerke AG, Kiel. (Dim: 40,18 x 7,93 x 3,76 m. Grt 480). 29/12 1948: Redelivered to Kieler Verkehrs AG, Kiel, W.Germany as a passengership. 1949. In traffic Kiel - Kappeln. 1951. In traffic at Flensburger Bay. 1952 - 1959: During wintertime laid up as a floating hotell in Kiel. 1952. On T/C to Skandinavisk Linjetrafik Copenhagen, Denmark. In traffic Copenhagen - Landskrona. March 1959: On T/C to Viking Baadena, Denmark. In traffic Copenhagen - Landskrona/ Helsingborg. 15/11 1961: Sold to Wiking Reederei & Schiffahrts G.m.b.H, Hamburg, W. Germany. 19/11 1961: Renamed KNUD VIKING. Nov. 1961: In traffic Havnegade (Copenhagen) - Landskrona. 1970: Laid up in Copenhagen. 9/7 1972: Gutted by fire and heavely damaged she sunk in the harbour of Copenhagen. Later refloated and scrapped by Larsen, Petersen & Folsgaard, Copenhagen. |
