| 28/9 1945: Keel laid. 7/3 1946: Launched 12/6 1946: Delivered to Ångfartygs AB Tirfing (Svenska Orient Linien), Goteborg, Sweden as NORDANLAND. 21/2 1955: The ship torn her mooring in port of Genova during a hurricane, and ran against a pier. There was a big hole in her hull in to the cargo hold were she had a cargo of carbide which was flooded. A huge explosion caused the ship to sunk in the harbour and she was a total loss |
