SAGOLAND. 1968: Lengthened at B & W, Copenhagen with 14,96 m. (New tonnage: Dwt: 5.918, Grt: 4.314). 1971: Sold to Svenska Orient Linien (Swedish Orient Line) (Brostrom), Gothenburg, Sweden. 1972: In collision with Svenska Lloyds passengerferry SAGA. SAGOLAND was heavely damaged and was abandoned in sinking condition, however, German tugs managed to tow her in and she was repaired at Newcastle. 1978: Transferred to Brostroms Rederi AB, Gothenburg, Sweden. 1978: Sold to P/R B. Abrahamsson (Williams Rederi), Gothenburg, Sweden and renamed SCOL RESIDENT. 1984: Sold to And. Smith Rederi AB, Gothenburg, Sweden and renamed CINDERELLA. 1984: Sold to Sunny Vale Shipping Co., Gibraltar and renamed FANNY. (British flag) 1987: Broken up at Kaohsiung, Taiwan. |
