as STENA NORDICA (II). 1974: Delivered as STENA DANICA (III) to Stena AB, Goteborg, Sweden. 01.1977-04.1977: Rebuild at Wilton-Fijenoord, Rotterdam with 1 more car deck 1981: Transferred to Stena Line AB, Goteborg and renamed STENA NORDICA (II). 1983: Transferred to Nautica (Belgium) N.Y., Oostende, Belgium, renamed STENA NAUTICA. 14/5 1986: transferred to Stena Cargo Line Ltd., Bahamas and laid up in Gothenburg 1987 - 1988: On T/C to SNCF, Dieppe, France and renamed VERSAILLES. 1988: Sold to Overseas Equipment Ltd., Dieppe, France. 1992 - 1996: On T/C to Sealink Stena Line Ltd., renamed STENA LONDONER and transferred to Bahamian register 1996: Sold to G.I.E. Versabil, Calais, France and renamed SEAFRANCE MONET. 24/4 1997-6/12 1997: Laid up as a reserv ferry at Dunkerque. 05.1998: Laid up at Le Havre. 29/3 2000: Collided with the breakwater at Calais in heavy weather. 05.2000: Sold in damaged condition to Naviera Armas S.A., Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. 24/5 2000: Towed from Dunkerque to Vigo for repair. 11/9 2000: Renamed VOLCAN DE TACANDE. |
