AB Soya (Wallenius), Stockholm, Sweden Sold during construction to Rederi AB Proserpina (Nordström & Thulin). 2/10 1944: Delivered to Rederi AB Proserpina, Stockholm, Sweden as CASSIOPEIA. 1947: Sold to Rederi AB Transpacific, Göteborg, Sweden and renamed NARRANDERA. 1952: Transferred to Rederi AB Transatlantic, Göteborg, Sweden. Sept.1962: Sold to Wallenius Bremen, W. Germany and renamed MARTHA. May 1966: Sold to International Development Co., Greece. 1969: Collided in English channel. After repair the ship was going to Antwerp when fire broke out in her engine room. Towed to Rotterdam where she was reported as a total loss. 1970: Broken up at Rotterdam. |
