History:
Delivered to Uddevalla Rederi AB as the shipyards first ship. At launching the ship refused to live the slipway, and first the day after with help of jackscrew and winches she come into sea.
27 december 1949 On voyage Furugrund and Preston she had hard westerly wind in Baltic Sea and hard icing, the crew had to put a great part of her deckcargo of pulp in the sea. Heavily iced and with severe list she managed to go into the port of Kalmar.
26 january 1950 sold to Empresa de Navegacao Fidelense Ltda., Rio de Janeiro and renamed ALCYON.
17/11 1954 registered at Empresa de Navegacao de Alianca S.A., Rio de Janeiro.
12/12 1970 registered at Diogo & Cia., Rio de Janeiro.
January 1972  registered at Diogo & Cia., Santos.
13/2 1973 sold to Fundicao Tupi, Joinvila, Santa Catarina to be broken up, works comenced under 1973 at Itajai, Santa Catarina.
