Delivered to Uddevalla Rederi AB (B. G. Thordén), Uddevalla, Sweden. 22 maj 1955 was HJÖRDIS THORDEN in collision in fog with the american ship ROBIN TUXFORD at New York's
harbour. Two officer's cabins were severely damaged on HJÖRDIS THORDEN.. December 1965 sold to Öivind Lorentzen i Oslo and renamed NOPAL SKY. 1968, september, sold to
Johs.Presthus,Bergen, Norway and renamed THORDIS PRESTHUS. On voyage Baltimore - La
Guaria, Venezuela the 18 januari 1970, she had fire and explosion in her
enginroom, outside Cape Hatteras and she was abandoned by her crew. 2 of her crew lost their
lifes. THORDIS PRESTHUS was towed in to Hampton Roads for inspection and declared as a "constructive total loss". Sold to Spanish shipbreakers and broken up at Santander, autum 1970.
