The Shipping company started 1878 with the order of
their first ship, the brig GUNHILD. |
| GUNHILD (1880 - 1908) She was build at Djupviks Varv, Krogane, Orust, Sweden and delivered 1880. Dim: 36,30 x 7,60 x 4,10 m. 304 grt, 264 nrt, She mostly sailed between Uddevalla and England, with props out and coal home. The 3 August 1908 when she was anchored at Boness berth the english steamer ETON collided with her, and she was heavily damaged and put aground. Anyway she was floating at her cargo of props and by high tide she was towed in to Boness for inspection. After inspection she was declared as "total loss" and was sold to Alloa, Scotland for £83 |

| ADELAIDE (1881 - 1902) Build 1881by S. Christofferssons Varv, Uddevalla, Sweden. Dim: 43,80 x 9,20 x 5,41 m. 495 grt. 1881: Delivered to P/R J. N. Sanne, Uddevalla, Sweden. J. N. Sanne owned 19/20-parts). 1900. January: transferred to AB J. N. Sanne, Uddevalla. 17 July 1902. Draged her anchor and was driven on land on island Juan de Nova where she was a total wreck. She was on voyage from Göteborg to Madagascar. The crew was saved and came to Majunga, Madagascar the 12 August 1902 in their lifeboats. |

Engine: Triple expansion steam engine, 386 ihp. Delivered in october same year to J. N. Sanne, Uddevalla, Sweden. 3/2 1900: Transferred on AB J. N. Sanne, Uddevalla, Sweden. 12/11 1926: Sold to Rederi AB Heresa, Göteborg, Sweden and renamed VIKSTEN. 31/12 1931: Sold to Rederi AB Thor, Göteborg, Sweden. 5/4 1934: Sold to Rederi AB Viksten, Karlshamn, Sweden. 7/5 1937: Sold to Danziger Seetransport G.m.b.H. (E. Zocke), Danzig and renamed WIBORG II. 1939: Homeport changed to Hamburg. Sometimes under the war she changed name to HAFNIA. 9/5 1946: Transferred as war trophy to Zegluga Polska, Gdynia, Poland and renamed NYSSA. 1949 - 1950: Broken up. |

| s/s JANE (1903 - 1910) General cargo steamer build 1903 at Trondhjems M. V., Trondheim, Norway. (Yard.no. 108) Dim: 61,39 x 9,35 x 4,03 m. 795 grt, 437 nrt. Triple expansion steam engine build by the yard, 660 ihp. Delivered in december 1903 to AB J. N. Sanne, Uddevalla, Sweden. December, 1909: Stranded at Tåudden, Marstrand, Sweden but refloated and towed to Lindholmens Varv, Göteborg for repair. 1910: Sold to E. B. Aaby, Drammen, Norway and renamed PAN. 1914: Sold to A/S D/S Pan (L. Stabell), Bergen, Norway. 26/10 1916: Zeized and sunk by the German submarine U 18 in the English Channel in pos. 49.54 N and 2.30 W on voyage Barry Docks - Caen with cargo of 945 tons coal. The crew was saved of the norwegian steamer ZEUS. |

Dim: 68,68 x 10,36 x 4,37 m. 1.215 grt, 670 nrt. 2-cyl. compound steam engine build by Blair & Co. Ltd., Stockton. 1906: Purchased by AB J. N. Sanne, Uddevalla, Sweden and renamed ODENSVOLD. 19/3 1918: Renamed ODDEVOLD 1927: Sold to Rederi AB Oddevold, Sölvesborg, Sweden. 28/11 1941: On voyage Gävle - Holtenau with cargo of iron ore she sunk after a collision with the swedish steamer KATTEGATT. She was later refloated and repaired. 3 crewmembers was killed. 26/8 1950: Sold to Rederi AB Torsten, Stockholm, Sweden and renamed TORSTEN. 6/10 1954: Sold to Cia. del Norte S.A., Puerto Limon, Costa Rica and renamed DORITA. 1958: Broken up by Eisen & Metall, Hamburg. |

Sanne, Uddevalla, Sweden and renamed UA 2 FISKMÅSEN. 15/6 1911: Sunk at Malö Strömmar at 11 meters deep, after first grounding. Refloated one month later by Moss Bergnings & Dykselskap, Norway. and towed to Göteborg for repair. 27/2 1912: Grounded at Buskär Knöte NE Buskär in the entrance of Göteborg. Röda Bolagets salvagesteamer HARALD refloated her and she was towed to Lindholmens Varv, Göteborg for repair. 1919.11: Transferred to Trål AB Fiskmåsen (Sven Sanne), Uddevalla, Sweden. 1926.08.: Sold to Fiskeri AB Neptun, Göteborg, Sweden and renamed GG 53 NEPTUN. 1935: Sold to Fiskeri AB Gretha, Göteborg, Sweden. 1940.10.: Sold to Göteborgs Torskmjölsfabrik (Lambert Häller) Göteborg, Sweden and converted to a barge. No further trace. |

Later transferred to Rederi A/S Ramoen (Knut Vartdal) 1939.09.: Transferred to Norwegian Navy as a guardship in Oslofjord. 14/4 1940: Seized by German troops and put into german service. 1945: Transferred to Rederi A/S Ramoen (Knut Vartdal). 1948: The steamengine is changed to a 5-cyl. diesel, 500 bhp, build by Harland & Wollf. 1960: Rederi A/S Ramoen (Johannes K.
